    A few days ago, the Ministry of Petroleum Science and Technology Management of China held a project acceptance meeting of "Development of a new generation of reservoir numerical simulation software version 3.

    Through theoretical and technical research, the project team innovatively established a multi-condition constraint geological modeling technology represented by "fault barrier, multi-boundary constraint and random interference interpolation", which realized the fine characterization of reservoir characteristics of complex sedimentary reservoirs and the prediction of reservoir properties.
    A mathematical theoretical model of nonlinear multimodal seepage was innovatively established, which solved the numerical simulation problems of variable attribute reservoirs such as macroporous simulation of high water-bearing reservoirs and dynamic fracture simulation of low permeability reservoirs in China.
    The theoretical model of numerical simulation of fine composite chemical flooding reservoirs was innovatively formed, which deeply revealed the key mechanism of enhanced oil recovery of chemical flooding after the development of water flooding, and effectively solved the problem of developing simulation of greatly enhanced oil recovery of chemical flooding after the development of water flooding.
    The large-scale fine and efficient reservoir numerical simulation solution technology (HiSolver) represented by "integrated architecture, high-precision space-time discrete, and multi-stage preprocessing solution technology" has been innovatively developed, which has greatly improved the simulation scale and computing speed of complex oil and gas reservoirs, increased the single-machine simulation speed by more than 5 times, and the simulation scale exceeded 10 million nodes.
