Researchers prepared single-layer or few-layer ultra-thin mica nanosheets by liquid phase exfoliation, and at the same time, using spraying technology, the ultra-thin mica nanosheets and chitosan mixed solution were successfully assembled into a mica composite film with a "brick-mud" layered structure at the micro-nano scale, and the composition and structure were optimized

The results show that when the mica content reaches 60%, the new composite film shows excellent mechanical strength, good visible light transmittance, and unique UV shielding
