A few days ago, Qingyang Petrochemical Company's industrial test device with an annual output of 300,000 tons of liquefied gas deep demercaptan-hypergravity lye recycling technology designed by Huludao Design Institute of Northeast Refining and Chemical Engineering Company has been safe and stable for 4 consecutive months and has passed 72-hour production calibration, and its product quality, energy consumption and environmental protection emission indicators are better than expected by industrial tests
    .
    This marks the successful
development of an industrial test device for the deep desulfurization of liquefied gas-hypergravity lye recycling technology.

It is reported that the new technology is independently developed by China Petrochemical Research Institute using independent research and development technology, Huludao Design Institute and Qingyang Petrochemical, which solves the technical bottleneck problems
such as the traditional liquefied gas desulfurization technology (Merox method) that the lye needs to be recycled and recycled, and the generated disulfide is difficult to be separated efficiently, resulting in backlash 。 In addition, the new technology can increase the removal rate of liquefied gas mercaptan from 80% to 95%, reduce the total sulfur content to 5ppm after removal, reduce the consumption of lye by 90%, reduce the sulfur content of MTBE products to 15ppm~20ppm, and the emission of alkali residue is zero, which greatly reduces the environmental cost of enterprises and improves the quality and efficiency
of downstream processing of liquefied gas.
