BASF opens R&D center for adsorbents in Shanghai

BASF has inaugurated its first R&D center for adsorbents in Asia in Shanghai, located at BASF's Innovation Campus
Asia Pacific, which integrates R&D, sales and marketing.

From the purification of hydrocarbons to the field of industrial gases, BASF has a comprehensive portfolio
of adsorbents in the fields of chemicals, gas treatment, petrochemicals and refining.
At the established R&D Center for Sorbent Applications, sorbent experts will provide technical support and advanced R&D services to customers in the Asia-Pacific region for their activities in natural gas demercury and hydrocarbon purification, while working closely with
sorbent R&D teams around the world.
