Issue 19/2014 - National Science and Technology Budget Prioritizes Air Pollution Prevention and Control

The national science and technology budget gives priority to the prevention and control of air pollution

Recently, the Ministry of Science and Technology will give priority to key scientific research projects
for air pollution prevention and control in the national science and technology plan (fund and special) budget this year and next.

At present, the Ministry of Science and Technology is working with various departments to revise and improve the "Work Plan for Strengthening Scientific and Technological Support for Air Pollution Prevention and Control"
.
In order to accelerate the popularization and application of advanced treatment technologies, the Ministry of Science and Technology, together with the Ministry of Environmental Protection, earlier issued the "Compilation of Advanced Technologies for Air Pollution Control", providing 89 advanced technologies for air pollution emission control and more than 130 typical cases
to the society.
The "Technical Compendium" includes key technologies
such as flue gas emission control of power station boilers, flue gas emission control of industrial boilers and furnaces, typical toxic and harmful industrial exhaust gas purification, motor vehicle exhaust emission control, and clean production.
