INVISTA licenses China Resources Nylon 66 polymerization technology

Recently, INVISTA and China Resources Yantai Nylon Co.
, Ltd.
, a subsidiary of China Resources Group, signed a nylon 66 polymerization technology license agreement
in Shenzhen, Guangdong.

Located in Yantai Economic and Technological Development Zone, Shandong Province, the new production line
is the first to receive a license for INVISTA's nylon 66 polymerization technology since 2015.
The line will use INVISTA's patented nylon 66 salt process and advanced continuous polymerization technology, which combines excellent safety and environmental performance, high reliability, long operating life, and lower operating costs to provide the industry with better products
while reducing energy consumption.

Pete Brown, executive vice president of nylon polymers for global intermediates at INVISTA, said that he looks forward to working with CR and other local partners to find more opportunities for nylon 66 downstream applications, thereby contributing to the strong growth and optimization of
China's nylon 66 industry.
