    New progress has been made in the research of organic room-temperature phosphorescent materials

    Recently, the team of Academician Tian He and Professor Ma Xiao from the School of Chemistry and Molecular Engineering of East China University of Science and Technology have made new progress
    in the research of organic room temperature phosphorescent materials.

    Pure organic room temperature phosphorescent materials with long afterglow have attracted extensive attention because of their application prospects in optoelectronics, biochemistry and other fields, and how to construct long afterglow materials with different luminous colors has always been a major difficulty in the field of pure organic room temperature phosphorescent materials
    .
    In addition to structural modification, non-radiative energy transfer is another feasible strategy
    for regulating the emission wavelength of phosphorescent materials.

    Based on this strategy, the researchers used different phosphorescent materials as energy donors, combined with photoresponsive energy receptor materials, to achieve reversible regulation of different color afterglows in three states: solid, solution and gel, and systematically characterized the emission spectrum, luminescence lifetime, excitation spectrum and other data of these materials in different states, and set up corresponding control experiments to prove the mechanism of radiation energy transfer

    This strategy not only has a relatively simple working principle, but also has strong versatility and feasibility
