At the 7th edition of Solar Photovoltaic Exhibition, WACKER presented its TECTOSIL encapsulant film, ELASTOSIL Solar 3210 and packaging solutions
for solar energy.

TECTOSIL is a flexible film made of silicone copolymer with high transparency and electrical insulation
.
The thermoplastic properties of the film allow it to be processed quickly, thereby shortening the production cycle of solar modules, and can also combine the components of the photovoltaic cell into a stable layer of pressing parts, which can provide mechanical and chemical stress damage protection for the encapsulated solar cell, and the film does not contain any catalysts or corrosive substances, and can be used in packaging containing compound semiconductors or other highly sensitive chemicals

In addition, TECTOSIL® encapsulant films can effectively control and even eliminate potential-induced attenuation (PID)
caused by leakage on the battery surface.

ELASTOSIL® Solar 3210 is an electrically insulating material specially developed for highly concentrated solar cell power generation systems, the two-component rubber has high light transmission and can be used for casting to produce optical lenses and molded parts
