    Fluor Fluor has confirmed that LyondellBasell has confirmed that Fluor
    will contract the construction and procurement of
    its propylene oxide (PO) and tert-butanol (TBA) projects.
    Fluor did not disclose the value of
    the contract.
    Located at facilities outside Houston in Chanalview and Bayport, the project is the largest single capital investment
    ever made by LyondellBasel.
    The project is expected to be completed in 2021, and when completed, the plant will produce 1 billion pounds of PO and 2.
    2 billion pounds of TBA
    per year.
