The new recyclable PC was successfully developed

Recently, Avient announced that it has developed a new recyclable polycarbonate (PC), reSound R PC, to further fulfill its environmental responsibility
as a leading global provider of sustainable material solutions and a founding member of the Plastic Waste Action Alliance.

It is reported that the Evante reSound R PC polycarbonate series contains 25%~70% post-consumer recyclable (PCR) or post-industrial recyclable (PIR) content
.
The collection aims to provide brands with more options to achieve circular economy goals and meet the growing environmental demands of
consumers.
Its "sustainable superpowers" include: the inclusion of recycled materials to reduce its carbon footprint, the reduction of energy consumption, the availability of a variety of colors, and more

In addition, the reSound R PC portfolio includes 6 PCR and 6 PIR grades with a glass fiber content of 10%~30%.

Some of these products are comparable to the original PC formulation in terms of elongation, tensile strength, cantilever notched impact, flexural modulus and flexural strength, and each can be customized to further meet specific application needs
