DSM continues to introduce new material solutions

Recently, DSM, the world's leading life sciences and materials science company, has launched a variety of material solutions, including the Arnitel® C series CM622, a thermoplastic copolyester elastomer material for automotive pipes and hoses in high-heat environments, halogen-free engineering plastic solutions and Stanyl® ForTiiTMLED LX solutions
for LED packaging CM622 material surpasses the performance of PA12, PA11, PA6.
12, A610, PA1010, PA1012 and many other flexible materials with high heat resistance, and has been successfully applied to vacuum brake tubes
    in vehicles.
Extremely soft and plasticizer-free, the material can withstand both low temperatures and temperatures up to 225°C, and has excellent heat aging resistance to meet the stringent standards
set by vehicles for under-the-hood duct materials.

DSM also offers a range of halogen-free materials
    for electrical and electronic applications.
The newly developed Arnitel® XG thermoplastic elastomer (TPC) has excellent mechanical and chemical properties and can replace traditional PVC materials for DC and AC power cables and data cables
such as Universal Serial Bus (USB) or High Definition Multimedia Interface (HDMI).
The newly developed four materials, Stanyl, Stanyl, ForTii, Akulon and Novamid, are widely used in a wide range of electronic components
, from connectors and slots in consumer electronics, home appliances and industrial fields, to switches, relays and coil frames.
These new materials eliminate the potential for hazardous substances, effectively reduce the environmental impact of e-waste, and help customers create more sustainable solutions
    .

In response to the demand of LED manufacturers who are actively looking for high-reliability materials to achieve stable high-volume production and excellent lighting output, DSM has launched Stanyl?ForTiiTMLED LX halogen-free flame-retardant and high-temperature resistant polyamine as an LED packaging material solution
    .
The material, a mineral-filled grade with high flowability and excellent UV resistance, sets a new standard for LED packaging and provides high initial reflectivity and excellent mechanical strength
    over time.
This enhanced reflectivity of Stanyl ForTiiTM has an immediate effect on the light output of LED packages, enabling LED suppliers to improve their key metrics
    .
