The European Union strictly restricts the amount of BPA in toys

The European Commission issued an announcement on June 25 that for toys intended for children aged 3 and under, as well as toys that may be designed to be placed in the mouth, the migration limit of BPA through the liquid is strictly set at 0.

The European Commission said it is still conducting scientific assessments of the effects of BPA on endocrine and other aspects, and will review the existing limit directive
once new scientific conclusions are available.

1 mg per liter in relevant EU standard documents, but this limit is only voluntarily implemented by the European toy industry and is not mandatory
