The Ministry of Environment (MOE) of South Korea officially announced the first batch of designated registered existing substances with a total of 510 substances
.
Producers/importers of listed substances who produce/import tonnage exceeding 1 tonne/year are required to fulfill their registration obligations within 3 years, otherwise they will be considered illegal production or importation and will be subject to the corresponding penalties
of K-REACH regulations.
During this three-year buffer period, enterprises can still produce and import
these substances.
