Recently, the "PAN-based carbon fiber complete set of technology development" project jointly undertaken by Shanghai Petrochemical Research Institute and others passed the technical appraisal and successfully "came out of the dragon"
.
The project has formed a 1,000-ton 12K general-purpose SCF35 carbon fiber industrial-scale precursor and oxidation carbonization complete set of technology and process package, built an industrialization device with a capacity of 500 tons of carbon fiber, successfully opened up the whole process of small test and mold test preparation of 12K carbon fiber, and stably produced kg-level SCF55 high-performance carbon fiber
in multiple batches on the ton-level DMSO wet molding test device.
The technology has established four platforms, including liquid preparation, spinning, carbon oxide graphitization, and composite material innovation, which provides technical support
for the upgrading of petrochemical carbon fiber, acrylic, vinylon and other products.
