The international cooperation project for the treatment of petrochemical wastewater by microbial fuel cell coupled membrane bioreactor was recently launched
in Lanzhou University.

This project is an international cooperation project supported by the Ministry of Science and Technology in 2013, chaired by Professor Li Xiangkai of Lanzhou University and undertaken by
Lanzhou Petrochemical.
The project will develop a new industrial composite wastewater treatment plant
for microbial fuel cell coupled membrane bioreactors by introducing new technologies and cultures from the United States and Italy.
At the launch ceremony, Professor Li Xiangkai of Lanzhou University introduced the implementation of the
project.
