    With the funding of the "973" program of the Ministry of Science and Technology, researchers from the Fujian Institute of Physical Structure of the Chinese Academy of Sciences have synthesized a stable porous metal-organic framework material, which shows good adsorption performance
    for acetylene at room temperature and pressure.

    At 295K and one atmospheric pressure, the material adsorption capacity for acetylene gas is as high as 224 cubic centimeters / g, which is much higher than the maximum value of 201 cubic centimeters / g
    previously reported in the literature.
    Even when the experimental temperature is raised to 308K, the acetylene adsorption capacity of the material can still reach 200 cubic centimeters / gram.

    In addition, after five rounds of suction and desorption cycles without reactivation, the adsorption capacity of the material to acetylene was only reduced by 3.
    8%, indicating that the material has good reusability
    .
    This achievement provides a new idea and way
    for the development of porous materials with excellent acetylene adsorption performance.
