Recently, the application test of the new process of ionic liquid sintering flue gas desulfurization to acid jointly developed by Pangang Group Coal Chemical Plant and Pangang Research Institute was successful
.
During the test, the technicians solved the problems
of desulfurizer escape, system blockage, and equipment corrosion in the new process.

Pangang Research Institute and Pangang Coal Chemical Plant launched the industrial application test
of ionic liquid sintering flue gas desulfurization to acid last year.
Since the application of the new process, the desulfurization efficiency has reached more than 90%, the concentration of sulfur dioxide released is less than 550 mg per cubic meter, the daily output of sulfuric acid can reach about 70 tons, and the consumption of sulfuric acid desulfurization solution per ton is less than 10 kg
.
