Issue 4/2015 - China Petroleum and Petrochemical Institute develops new technologies to support the upgrading of diesel quality

The PHF diesel hydrogenation technology independently developed by China Petroleum and Chemical Research Institute has become the first choice and main technology
for PetroChina's new round of diesel quality upgrading with advanced and efficient desulfurization characteristics.
As of January 6, PHF diesel hydrogenation technology has been successfully applied in 9 sets of diesel hydrogenation units, accounting for 64.
3% of the total number of diesel upgrade units, providing important technical support for the quality upgrade of China Petroleum State IV.

Relying on the hydrogenation pilot base of the group company, the Petrochemical Institute applied PHF diesel hydrogenation technology to provide processing scheme design, process technology optimization, as well as plant bottleneck problem analysis and technology upgrading scheme design
for 29 sets of diesel hydrogenation units of 19 enterprises.
In 2015, PHF diesel hydrogenation technology will be applied in 6 sets of diesel hydrogenation units of PetroChina to escort the future upgrade of China V
diesel.
