BASF completes acquisition of Solvay's polyamide businessRecently
, BASF completed the acquisition
of Solvay's polyamide business.
The business will be integrated into BASF's Performance Materials and Monomers
divisions.

The transaction between Solvay and BASF includes a total of eight production sites in Germany, France, China, India, South Korea, Brazil and Mexico, as well as R&D centers and technical consulting centers
in Asia, North and South America.
With this transaction, BASF has incorporated well-known and innovative products such as the Technyl brand
.
BASF is able to offer its customers better engineering plastics solutions, for example in the areas of
autonomous driving and e-mobility.
The transaction will also provide BASF with better access to key growth markets
in Asia, North and South America.
