Issue 40/2015 - Shenhua Shaanxi Methanol Project brine treatment unit successfully started

Recently, the concentrated brine evaporation device of Shenhua Shaanxi methanol downstream processing project was successfully
started.
The device is provided by Jiangsu Zhongsheng High-tech Industry Co.
, Ltd.
to provide proprietary technology, technical services and key equipment supply, and is undertaken
in the EPCM project general contracting mode.

The device is the first project of Jiangsu Zhongsheng to adopt independent intellectual property rights in China, using mechanical compression falling film evaporation and flash crystallization technology technology to treat reverse osmosis concentrated liquid and ion exchange resin bed regeneration waste liquid from saline wastewater membrane treatment unit, with a design treatment capacity of 60m3/h
.

During the start-up of the plant, water quality fluctuations were overcome, the design load reached 110%, and the qualified high-quality recycled distillate
was produced.
The successful start-up of the plant once again proves the ease of operation, stability and wide adaptability of this process, which is the best solution suitable for wastewater treatment at the end of the plant, and is a demonstration project
for zero discharge treatment of coal chemical wastewater.
