    Recently, Zhongyuan Petrochemical has coupled two complete sets of process technologies with independent intellectual property rights of methanol to olefin (MTO) and catalytic cracking to olefin (OCC), becoming the world's first MTO industrial plant
    with integrated OCC.
    After coupling with OCC integration, the selectivity of propylene plus ethylene is increased from about 80% to 82%~87%.


    Zhongyuan Petrochemical's 60,000 tons/year carbon tetraolefin OCC plant was successfully started up in 2009, which is the first industrial plant in the world to apply fully crystalline multi-stage pore catalysts, and the overall technical indicators have reached the international leading level

    Since the early stage of the construction of the first set of 600,000 tons/year MTO of Sinopec's first coal chemical demonstration project, Zhongyuan Petrochemical has begun to study how to combine the two to create greater benefits
    .
    In view of the changes in raw materials brought about by MTO start-up, the OCC device adopts the carbon four products containing 5%~10% carbon five of the MTO device as raw materials, and gradually transitions from the original refinery carbon four plus 2-butene mode to the MTO carbon four plus 2-butene mode
    .

    The company has carried out secondary technology development of different feedstock modes, adapted to the operation of different combinations of high olefin content and high carbon five content, and enhanced the coupling between OCC device and MTO unit
