Previously, there have been dozens of tons or even hundreds of tons of graphene production capacity at home and abroad, and the difference between this production line and the past is that it produces a single layer of carbon atomic materials, and the annual output can reach the ton level, which is the first time
in the world.

Carbon Century technical team since 2007 began to devote itself to the research and development of graphene preparation and application technology, in 2011 in the laboratory monthly preparation of 300 grams of graphene, in 2013 the monthly output reached 5 kg of graphene, in 2014 in Changzhou to establish a subsidiary, began to build graphene tonnage demonstration production line, to the end of October 2015 officially completed
the construction.
At this point, the company has the ability
to produce tons of graphene (monolayer carbon atoms) per year.
The completion of this graphene (single-layer carbon atom) ton-level demonstration production line marks that graphene has finally walked out of the laboratory and turned the first page
of the graphene industrialization process.

At present, the United States, Spain, South Korea and other countries are establishing graphene-related technology research and development centers
.
China may also include graphene in the
"Thirteenth Five-Year Plan" new material plan.
According to an industry report, there are more than 100 graphene enterprises in China, and industrial clusters
are being formed in Changzhou, Wuxi, Qingdao, Shenzhen and other places.
