    After two months of continuous and stable operation, the monthly consumption of methanol in the low-temperature methanol washing unit after the transformation of the purification branch of Datang Duolun Coal Chemical Company is controlled below 200 tons, which can save 13,000 tons
    of methanol per year.
    The consumption index of the world's largest low-temperature methanol washing unit with the largest single series of processing capacity has been further optimized

    The low-temperature methanol washing device adopts the German Luqi process, and uses the characteristics of high solubility of hydrogen sulfide and carbon dioxide in methanol at low temperature to achieve the purpose of desulfurization and decarburization, and the device also produces sulfur as a by-product
    .
    The plant processes 780,000 standard cubic meters
    of incoming gas upstream per hour.
    Since its operation in June 2011, the plant has consumed about
    1,300 tons of methanol per month.
    In 2012, the whole set of equipment continued and stable operation and production, and energy saving and consumption reduction became an important task
    for the company to increase economic benefits.
    Operators who are proficient in the internal laws of the plant continuously reduce methanol consumption
    by optimizing process operations.
    In 2012, the company's equipment department invested 300,000 yuan to add an acrylic heat exchanger, and in July 2013, it expanded a sour gas water cooler to further increase the recovery of
    methanol by reducing the acid gas temperature.
