    On November 12, the technical research results of Jilin Petrochemical EPDM rubber J-5105 passed the project acceptance organized by Jilin Science and Technology Bureau, and EPDM rubber is about to achieve industrial application
    in the field of sealing strips.

    Jilin Petrochemical has completed the small-scale and pilot test research
    of EPDM rubber by developing process technologies such as the gel content of ethylene propylene rubber polymerization reaction and polymer relative molecular quality control of vanadium catalyzed system.
    The pilot product has passed the performance test and the manufacturer's application experiment, and its data indicators are equivalent to similar foreign products, laying the foundation
    for the next industrial application of the product.
    At present, relying on the existing production equipment, Jilin Petrochemical has determined the industrialization implementation plan
    of ethylene propylene rubber J-5105.

    According to reports, the organic synthesis plant of Jilin Petrochemical Company has three production plants for ethylene propylene rubber A/B/C, with a total capacity of 85,000 tons
    .
    EPDM rubber J-5105 is mainly used to produce automotive sponge strips, and most of the products currently used in China are imported
    from abroad.
    Jilin Petrochemical EPDM rubber J-5105 new product indicators are equivalent to foreign products, ethylene content is about 55%, reflecting stable extrusion size, rapid vulcanization performance, good elasticity, better appearance and other characteristics
    .
    The ethylene content of 55% is slightly higher than that of foreign products, and the slightly higher ethylene content can increase the filler, reduce costs, and enhance the elasticity
    of the sealing strip.
