Yapole established a new polyolefin catalyst R&D laboratory

Albemarle today announced the opening of a new laboratory at its Process Development Center (PDC) in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, further enhancing the center's application capabilities
.

The new laboratory is equipped with a comprehensive laboratory equipment to serve the research and development of Apold's fast-growing polyolefin catalyst products
.
In addition, Yapole installed a new parallel polymerization reactor system at PDC to help the company's R&D team with the exploration, development and commercialization of polyolefin catalysts
.

Peggy Matherne, Global R&D Director, Albeaux Catalysts, said: "This investment is to expand the R&D center in Baton Rouge and increase R&D capabilities to meet the growing demand
for the company's catalyst technology.
