Recently, PE100 pipe special resin TUB121N3000 and its mixture developed by Dushanzi Petrochemical Company passed the appraisal
of the results of the China Petroleum Organization in Beijing.
The appraisal committee said that the overall performance of the product has reached the international advanced level

In May this year, the TUB121N3000 mixture passed the PE100 international grading test conducted by the Swedish Exova laboratory in accordance with the "Metric Series Specification for Buried Polyethylene (PE) Pipelines for Gas Use", becoming the first PE100 grade pipe special material
certified by an international authoritative organization by PetroChina 。 In addition, the test and application of gas pipes by manufacturers such as Cangzhou Mingzhu, Gansu Hongyang Chemical Industry, and Xinjiang China Oil Pipe Industry shows that the TUB121N3000 mixture meets the requirements of special materials for gas polyethylene pipes in terms of processing performance and physical and chemical properties of products, and the comprehensive performance of the products is equivalent
to similar foreign products.

It is understood that the product is jointly developed by PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, Northwest, North China and South China Chemical Sales Company, and on the basis of the first set of BP-Solvay double-ring pipe low-pressure slurry process introduced by Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, the industrial test and production have been completed, with a cumulative production and promotion of 150,000 tons
.

According to the international classification method, the special resin for polyethylene pipe has experienced the development process
of PE32, PE40, PE63, PE80, PE100 and PE112 grades.
Due to its excellent performance and comprehensive cost advantages, PE100 grade pipe material occupies a dominant position
in the application of large-diameter polyethylene pipe in the field of municipal engineering and construction.
The large-scale production of PE100 special materials developed by Dushanzi Petrochemical Company is expected to reduce the dependence of domestic PE pipe manufacturers on imported special materials
