Issue 47/2013 - NAURIN and Milliken launch a new grade of transparent polypropylene

Recently, North Huajin Chemical Industry Group Co.
, Ltd.
(hereinafter referred to as "North Huajin") has successfully developed three new transparent polypropylene grades RP344M-K, RP344P-K and RP344R-K
using Milliken & Company's Millad?8000K fourth-generation transparent agent.

Millad?NX 8000K transparent nucleating agent enables polypropylene to be processed at very low temperatures (190~200°C), which can reduce the processing temperature required by up to 40°C
compared to resins using traditional antiretroducers.
Low processing temperature can not only enable plastic mold foundries and processors to increase production, reduce overall production costs, reduce energy consumption, and reduce carbon dioxide emissions; It also helps to improve the aesthetics of polypropylene products, making them look brighter and more transparent
.

These three transparent polypropylene products are the first transparent polypropylene series independently innovated by North Huajin, which have excellent aesthetics, transparency and processing stability, and can be used in food packaging, medical, household appliances and other fields
.
The melt indices of RP344M-K, RP344P-K and RP344R-K are 8, 16 and 25
, respectively.
RP344M-K is a polypropylene product specially developed for high impact and high transparency applications, with excellent impact resistance, leading transparency and excellent processability, and has good applications
in special fields such as high impact food containers, baby bottles, transparent appliances and high transparent sheets.
RP344P-K is China's first transparent polypropylene product specifically for the medical market and using Milliken's Millad?NX 8000K technology, which is ahead of other similar resins
at home and abroad in terms of transparency and processing applicability.
In addition to medical syringes, this product can also be used to produce food-grade crispers and baby bottles

RP344R-K has a series of advantages such as high transparency, high gloss and high fluidity, which can be applied to large storage containers and food containers, which can significantly improve the production efficiency of product manufacturers, save energy consumption, and reduce production costs

It is worth noting that these three products have complied with the relevant provisions of the US Food and Drug Administration, the EU Hazardous Substances Restriction Directive, the European Union's REACH regulations and China's GB9693-88 hygienic standard for polypropylene resin for food packaging, and have obtained medical polypropylene resin certification
