    Recently, Dow Corning introduced the new Syl-Off?EM 7945 release agent
    .
    It is its new waterborne silicone release agent specially designed for PET film substrates, and it is also a safe, sustainable and environmentally friendly waterborne silicone release agent that can effectively replace solventborne products
    without incurring additional costs.

    Compared to conventional release agents, this emulsion cures quickly and offers higher performance
    including good anchorage, lower peel force and good appearance form.
    This new technology is particularly suitable for the production and manufacture
    of transparent labels and electronic applications.

    This new waterborne emulsion is safer and easier to handle and apply
    in logistics and coating processes than conventional solventborne release agents.
    Thanks to its solvent-free formulation, it not only avoids or reduces volatile organic compound emissions (VOCs), but also increases cost-effectiveness and sustainability
    with its very light coated weight.

    In addition, it is suitable for PET substrate formulations, making it the first choice for clear labels for food, cosmetics and beverages, and a high-performance option for pressure-sensitive tapes (PS), such as in the manufacture of consumer electronic devices, including touch screens and light-emitting diode (LED) displays and liquid crystal displays (LCDs).


    Compared to other emulsion-type release agents, the Syl-Off EM 7945 coating has better anchorage and fast curing and produces less rainbow

    It is also suitable for a wide range of coating technologies, including direct coating, gravure printing and wire bar coating, and can replace other solventborne systems without incurring equipment replacement costs
