Issue 49/2013 - Breakthrough in key technologies for sintering flue gas desulfurization

The national international scientific and technological cooperation project jointly undertaken by Nanjing Sirnaomics Pipe Co.
, Ltd.
and other special projects - the joint research and development project of key technologies for sintering flue gas ammonia desulfurization in the steel industry has recently passed the expert acceptance
in Nanjing.
The project not only made breakthroughs in the key technologies of sintering flue gas desulfurization, but also solved technical problems such as excessive heavy metal content of ammonia desulfurization by-products.
And for the first time in China, a desulfurization demonstration device
was designed and built.

The project has developed the key technology of sintering flue gas desulfurization, with a desulfurization efficiency of greater than 95% and a dust removal efficiency of 99.
4%, obtained agricultural grade ammonium sulfate products that meet the use standards, and designed and built a 1.
2 million cubic meters / hour sintered flue gas desulfurization demonstration device
for the first time in China.
