The efficient exploitation of low-permeability oil and gas reservoirs is recognized by the international oil community as an important development direction and a worldwide problem
in the 21st century.
China's low permeability oil and gas reserves account for about 50% of the remaining reserves, and the newly discovered oil and gas reserves account for more than
70% of the low permeability and special low permeability oil and gas reservoirs.
For a long time, China urgently needs to greatly increase the key technology of low-permeability oil and gas reservoir production capacity to complete the dream of cracking the exploration
and development of low-permeability oil and gas reservoirs.
After 10 years of research, the research team of China University of Petroleum (Beijing) researched and developed hydraulic sandblasting perforation and segmented fracturing joint cropping technology is precisely a software and hardware system integrating sandblasting perforation, hydraulic fracturing and segmented isolation, and has broken through a number of major key technologies, making China the second country
in the world to master this high-end technology.
