Issue 6, 2018 - Huntsman announces the acquisition of Demilec

On March 13, Huntsman announced the acquisition of Demilec
, a subsidiary of Sun Capital Partners in North America.
Demilec is a manufacturer and distributor of spray polyurethane foam (SPF) insulation systems with over 30 years of technical experience
in MDI SPF insulation and coating technology.
The transaction is expected to close
by the end of the second quarter of 2018.
Under the agreement, Huntsman will pay $350 million
in cash transactions.

Tony Hankins, President of Huntsman's Urethans Division, said, "Demilec and the SPF industry as a whole have achieved strong double-digit growth
due to the material's excellent thermal insulation properties and improved energy efficiency.
We are rapidly building our North American platform and aggressively expanding internationally, and the Demile team will continue its integration business
after the transaction closes.
