    Recently, researchers from the School of Materials of Hebei University of Technology and the Institute of Energy Equipment Materials Technology have made breakthroughs in the field of flexible sensors

    The researchers combined electrospinning and self-assembly techniques to create MXene's polymer three-dimensional fiber framework, which provides a highly interconnected porous structure that facilitates the diffusion, adsorption and desorption
    of organic gas molecules.
    The abundant modifying functional groups on the surface of MXene can further provide active adsorption sites for gas molecules, and an extremely thin MXene sensing layer is obtained by self-assembly technology, so that all active adsorption sites are exposed

    The sensor can operate continuously at room temperature, has high sensitivity to trace polar organic gases, and is flexible enough to be integrated into portable wearable devices
