Gazprom
and RusGazDobicha, a subsidiary of Rosprom, have decided to build a large LNG processing and production base
near the city of Ust-Luga in the Leningrad region.

With an estimated investment of more than 700 billion rubles, the project will build a gas processing plant (GPP) with a capacity of 45 billion cubic meters

The plant has an annual LNG production capacity of 13 million tons (two production lines with an annual capacity of 6.
5 million tons), and plans to produce 4 million tons of ethane and more than 2.
2 million tons of liquefied petroleum gas

The remaining gas after processing (about 20 billion cubic meters per year) will be sent to Gazprom's gas transmission system (GTS).

The operator of this megaproject will be Gazprom and RusGazDobycha, a company established on a peer-to-peer basis, RusHim Alyans
