    SABIC, Mattel cooperation green toy materials

    Recently, Saudi Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) announced a partnership
    with Mattel, the world's leading toy manufacturer.
    SABIC will supply Mattel with renewable polymers
    from TRUCIRCLE circular solutions.
    The first Mattel MEGA and Matchbox branded toy products to be launched in 2022 will be produced with certified renewable polypropylene (PP), with other brands to follow

    It is reported that Mattel is the first toy manufacturer to cooperate with SABIC to use the mass balance method to produce high-quality new plastic products using second-generation renewable raw materials

    It is reported that the first product that SABIC cooperated with Mattel is "MEGA BLOKS Green Town", which is also the first toy series
    to obtain carbon neutral certification in mass retail.
