    Since May 2021 alone, China has purchased 12 million tons of new corn from the United States, and it is estimated that 5 million tons have been purchased from Ukraine.
    Experts believe that this stimulus has led to a sharp increase in the price of forward contracts and a reduction in the difference between forward prices and spot prices.
     
    Analysts believe that despite the increase in China's own crop production, it will take time for the pig industry to recover and corn import substitution.
    Therefore, it is expected that China's corn import growth will continue in the 2021/2022 market year.
