    Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a systemic, chronic, progressive inflammatory disease that primarily affects the synovium of the joints and can lead to bone destruction

    The study included 35 women with RA and 35 healthy women (control group), both of whom were at low cardiovascular risk according to the Framingham score


     

    RESULTS : The mean age at diagnosis was 44.
