    Pancreatic cancer is a deadly disease, and only a small percentage of patients are fortunate enough to undergo surgery for removal.

    This study confirms that patients with symptomatic cholelithiasis are a risk factor for high incidence of pancreatic cancer, but no matter what intervention is selected for cholelithiasis, the risk of pancreatic cancer is similar.
