Background: 1) Early blood glucose abnormalities in CF (PwCF) patients can usually be detected by continuous blood glucose monitoring (CGM)

Early blood glucose abnormalities in CF (PwCF) patients can usually be detected by continuous blood glucose monitoring (CGM) to detect whether CGM can be used for OGTT-defined prediabetes and cystic fibrosis-related diabetes (CFRD) screening

Results: A total of 120 subjects were included (control group=35 persons, CF=85 persons), of which 69 persons were in the fsOGTT group

Figure 2 A to D, when detecting cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, select continuous blood glucose monitoring threshold to optimize sensitivity (100%) and minimize false negatives

Conclusion: The greater blood glucose variability of CGM is associated with decreased β cell function

The greater blood glucose variability of CGM is associated with decreased β-cell function
