This observational retrospective multicenter study collected COVID-19 data on IBD patients who received biological therapy in Italy from February 2020 to May 2020

The results of the study showed that among 1816 IBD patients, the cumulative incidence of COVID-19 was 3.

This study confirms that compared with the general population, IBD patients receiving biological therapy do not have a higher risk of COVID-19
