The reporter recently learned from the Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province that in order to continuously improve the governance capacity and level of ecological environmental protection, Jiangxi Province organized the pilot of the ecological environment-oriented development (EOD) model to introduce financial vitality
for ecological governance.
It is understood that the EOD model adopts industrial chain extension, joint operation, portfolio development and other methods to promote the effective integration, overall promotion, and integrated implementation of ecological environment governance projects with strong public welfare and poor profitability and related industries with better returns, and internalize the economic value brought by ecological environment governance, which is an innovative project organization and implementation method

Since the end of 2019, Jiangxi Province has carried out the work of recommending the EOD model pilot project, and pushed the projects included in the EOD model pilot project database to more than 10 banks, including the China Development Bank, to provide green finance policy support

The Department of Ecology and Environment of Jiangxi Province, the Jiangxi Branch of the China Development Bank and the Nanchang Branch of the Bank of Beijing respectively signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Deepening the Battle against Pollution and Jointly Promoting the Construction of a Beautiful Jiangxi, promising to borrow 100 billion yuan for three years
