    Recently, the Jilin Provincial Department of Industry and Information Technology announced the "Fourteenth Five-Year Plan for the Development of the Petrochemical Industry in Jilin Province


    The petrochemical industry is one of the three pillar industries in Jilin Province.


    During the "14th Five-Year Plan" period, Jilin Province combined with the identification of chemical parks and deployed 15 chemical parks in 7 regions of the province, clarifying the industrial positioning of each chemical park


    Jilin Province mainly distributes 15 chemical parks including Changchun Beihu Fine Chemical New Material Industry Demonstration Park, Jilin Chemical Industry Circular Economy Demonstration Park, and Siping New Industrialization Economic Development Zone Eco-chemical Park in 7 regions of Changchun, Jilin and Siping.


    Changchun area: Yushu Biochemical Park focuses on the development of corn deep processing industry, pharmaceutical intermediates, and biomedicine industries focusing on polylactic acid, L-lactic acid, and starch sugar; Changchun Beihu Fine Chemical New Material Industry Demonstration Park focuses on fine chemicals, new chemical materials, Leading industries such as chemical and pharmaceutical industries, focusing on the development of sub-sectors such as synthetic material manufacturing, special chemical product manufacturing, chemical raw material manufacturing, and chemical preparation manufacturing


    Changchun area:

    Jilin area: Jilin Chemical Industry Circular Economy Demonstration Park takes advantage of the traditional industrial advantages of refining and chemical integration, optimizes the ethylene chain, extends the propylene chain, further consolidates the foundation for the development of the petrochemical industry, and focuses on the development of petrochemicals, new chemical materials, fine chemicals, medicines and pesticides.


    Jilin area:

    Siping Area: The Eco-chemical Park of Siping New Industrialization Economic Development Zone focuses on the development of pharmaceutical intermediates, pesticide intermediates, raw materials, and new chemical materials industries to create the most competitive fine chemical industry base in Northeast China; Shuangliao Chemical Park develops chlor-alkali chemicals , Calcium carbide downstream products, both the development of biochemical, fine chemical, pharmaceutical and chemical industries, and build a basic chemical base in Jilin Province


    Siping area:

    Tonghua area: relying on the existing traditional Chinese medicine and chemical medicine industry base, the Tonghua Chemical Industry Park will develop chemical raw materials and pharmaceutical intermediates upstream, focusing on the development of pharmaceutical chemicals, fine chemicals, and new chemical materials industries to achieve independent and controllable supply of raw materials


    Tonghua area:

      Songyuan area: Songyuan Petrochemical Industry Circular Economy Park relies on the oil and natural gas resources in Songyuan area, integrates crude oil resources at home and abroad, promotes the integrated development of upstream and downstream, builds a new petrochemical industry base, and builds a circular economy industrial chain; Changling Natural Gas The chemical industry park promotes natural gas chemical projects such as carbon disulfide from natural gas, hydrogen cyanide, BDO, and thermoplastic degradable plastics, builds an industrial base for comprehensive utilization of light hydrocarbons, and promotes the construction of a large chemical industry framework; Qian’an Chemical Park focuses on the development of high-performance industries around automobiles and other industries Synthetic rubber, special polyesters, high-performance polymer materials and other new chemical materials industries


    Songyuan area:

      Baicheng area: Western Jilin (Da'an) Clean Energy Chemical Industrial Park takes advantage of wind power generation to form a clean energy chemical industrial park featuring hydrogen energy production and utilization in western Jilin Province, creating a "hydrogen valley in northern China"


    Baicheng area:

      Yanbian area: Tumen Chemical New Material Circular Economy Industrial Park focuses on the development of fine chemicals, new material chemicals and applied chemicals; Dunhua Chemical Industry Park focuses on the development of pharmaceutical chemicals and fine chemical industries, featuring the processing of Chinese medicinal materials and the production of Chinese medicines.


    Yanbian area:

      During the “14th Five-Year Plan” period, the petrochemical industry in Jilin Province will build a new industrial development pattern of “one core, two expansion and three extensions”.
