In order to meet the market's demand for high-purity sulfuric acid, in July 2018 , the sulfuric acid workshop of Jinchuan Group's nickel smelter opened the road to research and development of smelting flue gas production reagent sulfuric acid.
Through a large amount of theoretical analysis, information research and experimental research, the company has developed a technology for producing reagent sulfuric acid using smelting flue gas as a raw material and adopting a niacin scrubbing method.
In November 2019 , relying on the original niacin and sulfuric acid system, after nearly half a year of on-site construction, they built the first domestic production system for reagent sulfuric acid with an annual output of 30,000 tons of nickel smelting flue gas and successfully produced reagents.
