On May 25, 2016, JinkoSolar Holdings Limited (Shanghai, China) announced the supply of 122MW of solar PV modules
to Pattern Energy Group's solar PV project in Conejo, Chile.
Pattern Development (USA, California), an independent power producer in San Francisco, will be the owner of the
project.
Located in the city of Tartar, Antofagasta region in northern Chile, this Conejo PV project is one of the
largest solar power projects in Chile.
Signed a 22-year power purchase contract with Minera Los Pelambres
The project has signed a 22-year power purchase contract with Minera Los Pelambres, a subsidiary of Antofagasta Mining, and will be connected to a central transmission system
.
The project, which is expected to be completed by the second half of 2016, will meet approximately 65 percent of Los Pelambres' electricity demand
.
