Recently, Shanghai Chemical Industry Park held the nylon integrated industrial base promotion meeting and nylon industry development forum, jointly witnessed the commissioning of INVISTA adiponitrile project, the start of nylon 6,6 expansion project, the start of Shenma special nylon project, and the signing of investment intentions for Jeda nylon new material innovation industrialization project

The signing plan is to invest in the construction of nylon new material innovation industrialization project in the chemical park, help INVISTA to transform adiponitrile production capacity in situ, expand downstream application scenarios, and make the park the core highland
of the world's nylon 66 industry.

The two sides have previously started cooperation

At the beginning of 2022, Jeda and INVISTA (China) Investment Co.
, Ltd.
officially signed a nylon 66 polymerization technology license and raw material supply agreement
.
Relying on INVISTA's adiponitrile supply from the Shanghai project, Jeda will work with INVISTA to build an adipylene diamine park
with an annual capacity of 120,000 tons.
As a result, Jeda has become INVISTA's only authorized Chinese private chemical enterprise
.
Jeda has been working with INVISTA since 2016 and has become INVISTA's strategic partner
in the Chinese market.

Become the largest private manufacturer of nylon 66 in China

, said: "Our cooperation with INVISTA is that the surplus of about 150,000 tons/year of adionitrile from INVISTA's Shanghai project will be supplied to Jeda, and a park
with a production capacity of 120,000 tons of hexanediamine will be jointly built.
Hexamethylenediamine accounts for about half of the material composition of nylon 66, and hexanediamine is produced by hydrogenation of adiponitrile, after this cooperation, it is expected that by 2025, Jeda's company in Shanghai will achieve an annual production capacity of more than 200,000 tons of nylon 66, special nylon, modified plastics, etc.

of nylon 66 in China.

It is understood that in addition to the nylon 66 polymerization technology has signed a technical authorization with INVISTA, in terms of adiponitrile hydrogenation technology, Jeda has negotiated with Shenma and Tianchen, the world's most advanced producers of low-pressure hydrogenation method, to further apply and upgrade
the corresponding process package.
In terms of modification, Jeda plans to carry out application development cooperation technology
with Kingfa Technology, the world's largest modification manufacturer.
