On the afternoon of December 27 , the 2020 Yangtze River Delta Region (Su-Zhejiang) Hazardous Chemicals Road Transportation Accident Handling and Aviation Emergency Rescue Joint Exercise was held in Wujiang District, Suzhou, marking the start of the Jiangsu and Zhejiang Provinces' implementation of the Yangtze River Delta regional emergency coordination mechanism Substantial progress has been made.
This exercise was co-sponsored by the emergency management departments of Jiangsu and Zhejiang provinces and was conducted in a simulated comprehensive actual combat exercise.
The drill is divided into three stages: accident occurrence and preliminary treatment, comprehensive response and emergency rescue, control recovery and after-treatment.
