, a Norwegian company, announced that its new plant in Ramadan, Egypt, will be completed in the second quarter of 2017 with an investment of 1.2 billion Egyptian pounds.
According to Mohamed El-Rifai, head of oil and marine
coatings
at Jotun, the single-shift production capacity of the new plant will reach 70 million litres per year, and the company is planning to continue to expand production. Currently, Jotun's three-shift plant in Ismailia province has a capacity of 40 million litres per year.Jotun currently has 70 suppliers and 14 production facilities in 44 countries, including

In Egypt, Jotun supplies coating products for a number of projects, including Siemens' three power plant projects in Borolios, Beni Suef and Egypt's new administrative capital, as well as coatings for equipment and drilling rigs for the Zohor field, and is seeking needles to provide coatings for the upcoming restart of the Daabaa nuclear power plant project.
