    (KREDL) has issued a tender for a 150MW(AC) grid-connected solar project in Pavagada Solar Park, consisting of
    Building-Owned and Operated (BOO).

    The project will be divided into three 50MW (AC) project blocks, and the Bangalore Power Supply Company (BESCOM) will purchase the electricity
    generated over a 25-year period.

    The overall size of the Pavagada Solar Park is 2GW (AC) and most of the projects are already in use
    .
    At the same time, the project is also one of the
    largest solar parks in the world.
    Recently, Gujarat approved plans for
    a 5GW solar park.

    It is understood that the deadline for submitting commercial bids is August 25, 2018, and will be awarded
    through a reverse auction process.
