since 1976, The Kashi titration method has become the standard test method for moisture content in petroleum products approved by the Petroleum Association, and in 1982 it has become the standard for Japanese industry. This method can be used in Cullen and capacity titring systems. Due to the micro-quantitative analysis of water in petroleum products, Kurunfa is widely used.
coulomb method is to add samples such as insulation oil, frozen oil, transformer oil, kerosene or diesel oil to the electrolyte. For the capacity method, the sample is dissolved in an oil-specific dehydrated solvent and is titrated directly with a KF titration agent. Silicone oil samples can be titrated directly after being added to ketone dehydrated solvents.
additives in petroleum products, such as antioxidants, can interfere
    reactions to
KF reagents. If lubricants (e.g. gasoline and diesel oil) and other products contain this substance, card titration requires the use of an oily moisture vaporization system.application examples

"The Make of the Water Content in Acetaldehyde by Means of Karl Fisher Reagent."if KF reagents and dehydrated solvents contain methanol, aldehyde and methanol reaction, aldehyde is also associated with another component of KF reagents: sulfur dioxide, resulting in inaccurate test results. Therefore, KF reagents used to detect ketones must meet the following conditions:
    1) KF reagents and titration agents must not contain

Determine of Water in Ketones and Silicone Oils by Karl Fisher Titration Method"If KF reagents and dehydrated solvents contain methanol, ketones and methanol reactions, the test results are inaccurate. Therefore, KF reagents used to detect ketones must meet the following conditions: 1) KF reagents and titration agents must not contain
    methanol
; Ketone products can be detected using the Coulomb method and capacity method, and the detection method and applicable reagents can be selected according to the test object.below the inactive carbide-based compounds can be directly titrated using a dehydrated solvent (GEX/MS) containing methanol: isopropylone, camphor, xybenzene, deoxygenation scent, pyridine, serotonin, oxycodone, 3 ketones.other substances, ketone reagents are required. This means that moisture control is very important
    the
in plastics. Card-type titration method is the ideal method to detect the moisture content in plastics, and the moisture volatile system method can detect the moisture content quickly and accurately.
use the moisture volatile system method, it is important to choose the heating temperature according to the type of plastic, each plastic has its own suitable temperature range. The common view is that plastic is heated to a temperature near the melting point.the appropriate heating temperature for different plastics and, if necessary, please contact Pelber for information.application case 1, Cullen titration - moisture volatilization (heated 110-250 degrees C)

If the sample heating is stable, the moisture volatile system method is used. If the heating is stable too high, damage to the sample can result in an error in results.
-card titration method can be used neither the Cullen method nor the capacity method, which is usually more appropriate because the water content of the sample is relatively high.Natural ProductsApplication Examples 1, Capacity Titration
