Capital Network released news on December 6, Kazakhstan's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade and Integration Zhumangarin said on the same day that due to the large number of sunflower seed exports leading to the risk of insufficient raw materials for sunflower oil production, the Kazakh government plans to impose export tariffs on sunflower seeds in January 2023 in exchange for the signing of a memorandum between domestic edible oil producers and the Ministry of Agriculture to ensure that the average annual price of sunflower oil does not exceed 750 tenge / liter.
