Kazakhstan plans to expand its exports of aquatic products to China

Astana, November 14 (Kazakhstan) -- Kazakhstan's Minister of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources Breksev said on the same day that in order to open up the external market, the Kazakh government has confirmed the inspection and quarantine certificate of aquatic products exported to China with relevant Chinese departments, and a total of 64 Kazakh enterprises have been included in the list of
aquatic products enterprises exporting to China.
According to the amendment to the Tax Code submitted to Parliament for consideration, it is proposed to reduce the value-added tax
of 70% for aquatic product processing enterprises.
The Ministry of Ecology, Geology and Natural Resources plans to provide preferential subsidies for domestically produced fishery products for further processing, and the relevant draft law has been submitted to the central government for review
